This is the place where you can exchange art with randomly selected artists of the same calibur as you!
How does it work?!
In short: you sign up and once a month you're assigned a commission via priviate message. You turn your commission in and it's given to the person that asked for it. That person doesn't know who will create their request, so it will be a surprise!
Only when you make commissions for others do you get to request yourself. You will not know who will actually draw your request, until of course it is posted in the category wiki!
Read the rules for further details and have fun!

Please read the rules:

1. Artists wanting to participate will need to provide a sample piece of art. This piece will be rated by the EAX Moderators and the artist placed in a star-category, ranging from 1-5 stars; artists will only participate in the category they are assigned. Artists may ask to be re-evaluated after 3 rounds of exchanges.

2. Artists need to use their own work. This is non-negotiable. Any user caught with plagiarized art will be banned from participating and reported to the guards.

3. Rounds will be once per month. Submissions need to be in by the last day of the month. (ie. To participate in April, have your submission from March done by March 31.) Artists who do not complete their commission will not be allowed to participate in the next round.

4. Minors cannot ask for R or X rated art. Minors are also not allowed to draw R or X rated art. Minors who attempt to do so will be warned the first time, and banned from participating the second time.

5. Art will be divided by category. More categories will be added by popular demand. The available categories are as follows:

Still Life Art Exchange -- for inanimate objects, ie. a car
Realisitc Art Exchange -- for animate objects, ie. a dog or cat
Fantasy Art Exchange -- for fantasy creatures not drawn in the anime style, ie. dragons or realisitc elves
Anime Art Exchange -- for character art done in the japanese or korean anime style
Photography Art Exchange -- for photographs
Abstract Art Exchange -- for abstract art
R-rated Art Exchange -- all categories except with violence or gore *note* this art MUST be uploaded directly to the wiki!!
X-rated Art Exchange -- all categories except with sexually explicit content *note* this art MUST be uploaded directly to the wiki!!

6. Artists wanting to participate need to fill out the following form and submit it to EAX Applications:
     Username:
     Preferred Category:
     Age:
     Sample Work:
     Title:

7. Round one will begin as soon as we have 2 or more artists in the same category of the same calibur.

And remember! Have fun with this!

2005-06-12 [Stephen]: *whistels* We need to keep working...

2005-06-12 [Solitiaum]: You spelled whistles wrong :P

2005-06-12 [Stephen]: I know >_< Either way... Work is good... I cn't do much more with direction...

2005-06-19 [Sunrose]: Shouldn't there be a small explanation above the rules what this wiki is for? >.>

2005-06-19 [Stephen]: Good Idea! I'll do that right now! ...actually... I'm not 100% sure mysekf :S

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: It an art trade wiki. Like secret santa.

2005-06-20 [Stephen]: Okay. :) It also seems like a game, in a way.

2005-06-20 [Stephen]: *Pokes*

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: *pokes back with a BIG stick*

2005-06-20 [Stephen]: Ouch!

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: Yes, so describe how that works? Because it doesn't say anywhere and other people besides you should also know ;)

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: Its in the rules... You sign up, and once a month youre assigned a commission via priviate message o.o; Turn it in, its given to the person that asked for it, and then you get to do another round...

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: Please just add a small description to the wiki. I have to read the rules 5 times to understand. You have to think about the readers...

2005-06-20 [Stephen]: I like the new description :D Granted, I didn't know the request part myself and I helped make the page, but I know now.

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: Problem is though people have to start making commisions before they are allowed to request: that means no one can request right now since no one created anything. And without requests, you can't create anything. I see a loophole here...

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: *makes some minor corrections* No no no... No comissions are required before you can request, perse. You request, and in that same round, you are given a commission. See?

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: But then what if someone makes a commission, but they also made a request. The one you requested to make the image doesn't do the job: what will you do then? You'd have to give the assignment to someone else. In the meantime that person did do a request and it was already made. Since the requests can be very personal it may be that it can only be given to that person... :/ Do I make sense?

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: No, you dont. If someone doesnt get their art for that month, then the person who was *supposed* to do the piece wont get to participate in the next round. Anyone can step up and do the missed piece, or I can do it if it has to be done for something special or time restrictive.

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: So you enter this wiki and make a commission. What will be done with your commision of your exchange partner didn't do his work?

2005-06-20 [Solitiaum]: Its not always going to be a direct exchange... Say theres like 3 people in a category... It'll be a gets b's commission, and b gets c's, and c gets a's. Capiche?

2005-06-20 [Sunrose]: Yes, that still didn't answer my question. What will you do with a's commision if c didn't do his work?
